Rechael and Luke met their freshman year at SMU when a mutual friend (shout out to Amy) convinced Rechael she should go to Austin for the weekend with her friend Luke. Little did they know then, 7 years later, they would be moving into their first home together back in Austin, Texas.

Our wedding is in Carlsbad in North County, San Diego. For those arriving by plane, we recommend flying into the San Diego airport and renting a car or getting an Uber from the airport.

Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve Hike - it's more like a slight uphill walk but with great views

Leucadia Farmer's Market is a Sunday favorite

Walk around the 101 in Encinitas - stop by Hansen's Surfboards where Rechael used to work or walk the Rail Trail

Walk around Carlsbad Village

Head downtown to Petco Park to watch the Padres play the Astros and enjoy the Gaslamp Quarter

Legoland is about 2 miles from the wedding venue and of course, the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Safari Park, Sea World and Disneyland aren't too far either
